Shipping Methods

All shipping will be handled through UPS or Canada Post.  Shipping costs are calculated during checkout.  We cannot ship to Post Office (PO) Boxes.  We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.  We ship on standard business days only (Monday – Friday).  For orders over $1000, please contact our customer service department for preferred shipping rates.  On some products, special handling fees may still apply.

FREE Shipping (Canada Only) applies to all orders over $100 before shipping/taxes and are shipped via Canada Post Expedited.  Exception: If your shipping rate exceeds 20% of your orders total, we will charge for the remainder of the shipping cost.

Delivery times will vary depending on your location.  Expedited parcels can take 4-7 business days, Express can take 2-4 business days.

Samko understands that the safety of your personal information is extremely important to you.  We use a number of best-in-class electronic and physical security measures and devices to protect your personal data and credit card information from unauthorized access. All payments are securely processed through Moneris payments solutions.  Samko does not have access to any credit card information.  The following forms of payment are accepted for online orders: Visa and MasterCard.

Return Policies

To keep our pricing low, we have a strict “all sales final” policy, however if any toy does not work please contact customer service and we will gladly replace it.   Prices and item specifications are subject to change without notice.  All orders are subject to acceptance by Samko.  No rush orders allowed.  Samko will make every effort to ship your order in its entirety.  However, if for some reason we are unable to do so, a customer service representative will contact you.  Orders received prior to Noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) will be scheduled to ship within 3 business days.  Orders received after Noon EST will ship within 4 business days.  Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Is the retail store open?

Our Toronto and Richmond Hill warehouse toy stores will be open September 22nd 2018.

When is the latest available date to order before Christmas?

Canada Post Guarantees deliver on orders placed before December 19th 2018 to be received before Christmas (within Canada).

What payment types do you except?

We currently accept Visa and Mastercard’s from Canada and the United States. By the end of September 2018 we will be expanding our payment options by adding American Express and Visa Debit support as well.

What happens if an item I receive is damaged during shipping?

We will provide replacement of all damaged items. Email customerservice@samkosales.com with a photograph of the item and order number that the item was purchased under.

Make sure to check your junk box/spam folder as sometimes our pickup notifications may get filtered out! During our peak season allow 1 business day for processing at our Fima Location and 2 business days for processing at our Richmond Hill Location

How do I know when my order is ready for pickup?

You will receive a confirmation email once your order is ready to be picked up. Be sure to check all email folders as our customer service emails may be filtered by your email provider.

Which countries can I order from?

Samko currently ships to both Canada and the United States.

Are ALL products online?

No, all of our products are not online.  Online and In-Store selections differ.  If you are interested in shopping for and seeing all the products we have to offer, then please visit one of our locations during our sale dates.  We have 1000’s of brand name toys and books available at unbelievable prices.

Can I pickup my order?

Yes you can pick up your online order. All online orders can be picked up once you receive a confirmation email usually within 48 hours of placing your order.  When picking up your order please bring a valid photo ID and a copy of your receipt/order.

What are your tax policies?

Samko.com automatically charges and withholds the applicable sales tax for orders that are delivered to addresses.  If you are a Tax Exempt organization, you must provide the Tax Exempt Certificate after your initial purchase.  Samko will verify all Tax Exempt requests.  We will issue a credit for sales tax on your initial order.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Most estimated transit times for deliveries will be no more than 8 business days from the day your items are shipped.  To better estimate your transit times, please visit the service’s website.

Will I need to pay any duties?

If you are in Canada you will not be subject to additional border taxes, or duties!  You will incur sales taxes, however, which will be calculated based on the province you are shipping your order to.

Will I receive a tracking number for my order?

Yes!  When your order ships, you will be emailed a tracking number.  It can take up to 24 hours for a tracking number to register on the carrier’s website, so don’t worry if the carrier doesn’t have your package status immediately available.

When will an out of stock product become available for purchase?

Many of our products are sold out when we run out, and we often are not able to get that product back.  However, we encourage you to check back periodically, as we always update what’s available!  If you live in the Greater Toronto Area, you can also visit one of our stores, as all of our online products – and more – are offered in store.

What’s a Security Code?

Security codes, sometimes called card verification data, are the digits, usually 3, on the back of your credit card.  For cardholder security, you must input these digits during online check out.
