What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is about relationships. It relies on a relationship between us (Samko) and you, the affiliate, as well as a relationship between you and prospective customers. When you promote our toys on your blog, website, or social media feed and a consumer purchases a product based on your promotion, we pay you a revenue share of the sale that you helped generate!
Who are affiliates?
Affiliates include bloggers, publishers and influencers as well as companies.
What do affiliates get paid for?
The three most common ways we pay affiliates are pay-per-sale, pay-per-lead and pay-per-click. Affiliates only get paid when their promotional efforts actually result in a transaction.

How do affiliates get paid?
We use a third-party Affiliate Marketing Network called ShareASale, which has been one of the biggest affiliate platforms for almost 20 years. We pay our affiliates on the 20th of every month through the ShareASale program, which ensures that we always have enough money deposited in our account to pay all our affiliates without fail. Affiliates can choose to get paid by check or direct deposit but the minimum payment threshold is $50. They can raise this to a higher payment trigger amount if they like.
ShareASale has an article all about payments, which you can find here.
Is there a cost to sign up?
Nope! And you can be an affiliate for as many other companies as you’d like on the ShareASale platform at no cost, too.
What is the commission rate?
Typically, commission rates are based on a percentage of the total sale. Sometimes it can also be a flat fee, depending on the promotion we are running at the time. We often also like to reward our top performing affiliates with bonus commission.
Who manages the affiliate program?
We do! We care about nurturing our partnerships and therefore have an internal affiliate management team.
